Marvel Studios hosted a not-so-secret secret fan and press event at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood this morning to announce some big upcoming projects. Here is the live blog of what is going on and being revealed:

11:05 a.m. – Event has begun. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will take to the stage shortly to begin the festivities. Captain America 3 directors Scott and Joe Russo are here along with Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson and some guy named Joss Whedon.

11:10 a.m. – El Capitan organist has descended from the stage and the curtains are about to rise and open. It’s showtime!

11:12 a.m. – Kevin Feige takes the stage. “Thanks to the fine people at Hydra, we debuted the Avengers trailer last week.” They’re now showing the teaser for Age of Ultron.

11:15 a.m. – Crowd goes nuts after the trailer. And here’s Joss Whedon…

 11:17 a.m. – Feige: “We didn’t ask you here to tell you things you already know.” Captain America 3 release confirmed as May 6, 2016. Doctor Strange confirmed for November 4, 2016.

11:21 a.m. – Feige talking about Doctor Strange and background on character. “It will open up a whole new world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.” Then, Guardians of the Galaxy sequel release date confirmed for May 5, 2017.

11:23 a.m. – Thor 3 announced!

11:25 a.m. – Black Panther added to Phase 3. Release date will be November 3, 2017. Thor 3 will release July 28, 2017. Captain Marvel added to Phase 3 and will release July 6, 2018.

11:27 a.m. – The Inhumans added to Phase 3. Release date will be November 2, 2018.

11:30 a.m. – Following a montage of all the previous Marvel movies, we get a stunning reveal: a two-part Avengers movie! Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 will hit May 4, 2018 and Part 2 hits May 3, 2019!

11:34 a.m. – Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans on stage and are joined by Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther). Downey: “Welcome to the fray. Get used to the applause.”

11:36 a.m. – Black Panther makes an appearance.

11:37 a.m. – Black Panther concept art:

11:40 a.m. – That’s it from the Marvel Event! Time to catch our breaths. What a jam-packed thirty minute presentation that was!
