100 Years of Movies in 100 Days – Day 61 – Patton (1970)

Well, the 60’s were a pretty unimpressive blur. Can’t believe I start the 1970s tonight. Tonight, George C. Scott as Patton beats out the other war movie MASH. Thing is, I actually liked MASH more than Patton, but I figured it was due another viewing. In short, Patton amounts to almost three hours of George C. Scott being a bull-headed prick/genius of a general, an acting performance that earned him an Oscar. Karl Madden is also pretty good in this movie. Meh, can you tell I’ve hit another wall. The end is so close and yet, so far away.
