Gal Gadot will look to cast aside her Wonder Woman gear as she enters in to talks for her next role as Hedy Lamarr in a Showtime limited series.

Gadot, who will also co-executive produce the series with The Affair co-creator/executive producer Sarah Treem, The Handmaid’s Tale producer Warren Littlefield and Endeavor Content.

Treem is in talks to write the series which will cover the life and career of Lamarr.

According to Deadline, Gadot had been looking to do a project about Lamarr and became interested in the project after a conversation with Treem.

Showtime’s executive producers did not comment on the project saying that there was no closed deal yet. President of Programming Gary Levine said, “If it comes together, we will be extremely happy.”
