It seemed like the Star Wars portion of the Disney Live Action Film panel revealed info about everything except The Force Awakens. Colin Treverrow, who directed Jurassic World to box office glory this summer, was confirmed as the director for Episode IX while the cast of the first spin-off movie, Rogue One was revealed.
Felicity Jones (Theory of Everything) leads the cast of Rogue One which also includes Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Alan Tudyk, and Riz Ahmed. We also got the first still from the movie: (click on image for a much larger version)

Star Wars: Rogue One… L to R: Actors Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna, Felicity Jones, Jiang Wen and Donnie Yen.
The attention was eventually turned to The Force Awakens as cast members Oscar Isaacs, John Boyega, Lupita N’Yongo, and Daisy Ridley appeared on stage with director J.J. Abrams. The loudest pop though came for the guy who walked out on stage next – Harrison Ford.
No footage from the film was shown, but it didn’t seem to matter after Disney chairman Bob Iger appeared on stage to drop the bombshell that BOTH DisneyWorld and Disneyland would be building a 14 acre Star Wars Land. No opening date was announced for the new section of the park, but we could be waiting a couple more D23s before it opens.
