Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill along with producers Deborah Snyder and Charles Roven were recently in Japan for a press conference in advance of the release of Man of Steel. Japan is one of the final countries getting the blockbuster Superman movie. Critics and fans stateside have been critical about the mass carnage seen in the film and Snyder took the opportunity to address their concerns:

Personally, I think the destruction gives the movie the “epic” comic book feel. And it’s Superman; he is supposed to knock people through buildings!
