To be honest with you, I have no idea what was going on in this movie. I do remember there is a Disney cartoon that suddenly appears and seems oddly fit into a Hitchcock movie. But back to the reasons why I didn’t know what the heck was going on…

For one, every copy I tried to view, whether it was on Hulu, Fancast, Youtube or Netflix, all had crappy volume. I had the sound turned up to full on both the screen and my laptop and I could still barely make out what was being said. And whatever I could make out seemed like these people were speaking Swiss. I remember a few years back this movie was part of a Hitchcock value pack that I bought and I recall not watching it then cuz the sound was really shoddy on the DVD copy as well!

So then I thought about viewing Modern Times but there’ve been a lot of Chaplin movies in this porject so far and I’m trying to keep it somewhat diversified. The only other movie I was willing to consider was The Charge of the Light Brigade. I watched about eight minutes of that movie, but when the prince or king or whoever the top guy for the Indian kingdom shoots a jaguar point blank, I kinda thought, Uhhh,… maybe I’ll try Sabotage again. And then when Errol Flynn shoots another jaguar that was gonna attack that big shot Indian guy, well, I hit pause and changed the movie.

For what it’s worth, the Disney cartoon is entertaining enough. I’ll spare you the hour it takes to get to that spot in the movie and just link the full-length cartoon here for you Disney-fanatics. Enjoy.
