Wow, talk about having to go into the vault. My original plan was to watch Mutiny on the Bounty but unable to find a copy of that movie, I ended going to my back-up – 39 Steps by Alfred Hitchcock. Unfortunately, every copy I viewed had really low volume and I couldn’t hear what was being said. So then I went to my third string, A Night at the Opera featuring the Marx Brothers. Again, no copy was available so I went with my final option. The fourth string pick – Scrooge.

Scrooge is the first time the Charles Dickens story had been adapted to film. Of course, we all know how the story pans out so I’m not going to bore you with the synopsis of this story and you can rest assured that nothing out of the ordinary happens in this version. So in a way, you could say my streak of great movie ended today, but that just means that I get to start a new streak with Sabotage. Hmm… better go check and see if there’s a copy of that move somewhere.
