What originally started out as a music video has evolved into a feature length film. Seventh Code is not only the title of Japanese superstar Atsuko Maeda’s latest single but a collaboration with director Kiyoshi Kurosawa (no relation to Akira Kurosawa). His filmography includes hits like Tokyo Sonata, The Cure and Pulse.

Today, we get the first full length trailer for the film which screened at the Rome Film Festival last month.

Seventh Code gets a one week run in Japan beginning January 11. A U.S. release has not yet been announced.
