When he’s not busy piloting the Starship Enterprise in the Star Trek franchise, Chris Pine is spending his time helping rescue people from a doomed ship in Disney’s upcoming drama The Finest Hours.

The first trailer for the heroic action-thriller based on a true story has arrived online this morning courtesy of the folks at Disney.

Along with Pine, the film also stars Casey Affleck, Eric Bana, and Ben Foster in an adaptation of one of the most daring rescues in the history of the U.S. Coast Guard.

The Finest Hours will arrive in theaters January 29, 2016. Watch the first trailer below.
