Disney has followed up the release of a teaser poster for Maleficent with a new teaser trailer. This is the first footage that has been released to the public, outside of an “unfinished” sneak peek the studio showcased at their D23 Expo a couple months ago.

This teaser trailer gives us a look at Elle Fanning‘s Princess Aurora (and her awful English accent) as she wanders the forest in search of Maleficent.

It looks as though Disney is following the Alice in Wonderland model of stuffing in a much CGI as possible into this film. The scope is grand and Angelina Jolie looks perfect as the iconic Sleeping Beauty villain.
