Sony has dropped off five new pics for their upcoming reboot of Robocop along with a new full-length trailer. How did they come up with the (awful) idea of rebooting this ’80s classic? In an interview with Hero Complex, director Jose Padilha said, “I actually went to MGM to have a meeting about something else, and I saw the Robocop poster. And they said, ‘You know what? Let’s do this.'”

Ugh.
