According to a Los Angeles Superior Court spokesperson, no official paperwork has been filed yet, but Heard and Depp are currently in court, in an office where restraining orders are filed.
According to TMZ, Heard entered court on Friday morning with a bruise on her face, claiming Johnny Depp physically assaulted her. Heard and her lawyer, Samantha Spector, submitted photos as evidence showing bruises that Heard claims Depp inflicted repeatedly throughout their marriage.
One of the pictures shows Amber with a bruise around her right eye. She reportedly claims that Depp smashed his iPhone on her face before shattered other objects in their home.
According to TMZ, Amber said she has video of one of the beatings.
Spector’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said they’re currently don’t have any information on the matter.
The restraining order comes less than a week after the actress filed for divorce.
Depp broke his silence about the split on Thursday.
“Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly,” Depp’s rep said in a statement.
